A process management solution to design, model, implement, optimise and automate business and technical processes across the organisation. Operators build processes by dragging and dropping boxes, then associate those diagrams with input fields — adding logic, responsibilities, escalation, data lookups and notification turns a diagram into a fully functional process.

A reference programme runs 40 network element interfaces and 6 third-party system interfaces, alongside a daily automated data load of around 700 million records across 10 domains and 8 OEMs.

The problem it solves

Operators run complex, cross-departmental processes manually. Site builds, audits, upgrades and change authorisations are performed and tracked by hand, with limited data quality assurance and high exposure to human error. Flo digitises processes that current OSS, ERP and CRM stacks do not cover end to end, bringing tracking, ownership and data integrity to work that is otherwise fragmented — moving from a build process with limited data quality assurance to one with quality assurance built in.

How it works

  • Build processes with a GUI — diagram drag-and-drop, field creation, and instance actions for notification, escalation and responsible party.
  • Swim lanes for departments — when new flow instances are dragged into a diagram, dependencies are automatically mapped.
  • Step-level control — the fields visible and editable at each step are configured, the current step is colour-coded, and buttons and states per step are configurable.
  • Attachments in context — photos, comments and file attachments captured on each step and per asset.
  • Bulk update of information across a process.

Configuration & control

Fields are added via configuration, specifying type and properties, with sub-modules allowed. Each instance can be configured with full control over buttons, permissions and notifications. Every step can be set up with a responsible party, buttons, permissions, escalations, actions and notifications. At instance level, operators configure conditions, links, triggers and status options, along with customisable buttons that advance the process to its next status or step. Progress tracking compares new and previous values, runs at asset level, and rolls up into project progress dashboards.

Integration

Flo can interface directly to a data source to collect or write back data, and is deployed alongside NetTopo and the Infinity platform to support a single-source-of-truth architecture. It can also interconnect, via SiteSURV, with ERP, warehouse, health-and-safety, trouble-ticketing and planning systems.

Delivery, training & support

Delivery is turnkey — deployment, integration and commissioning, with Digitata Networks setting up the ETL processes to extract, translate and load data from network elements and third-party systems. Training in a reference engagement covered full user training for up to 40 users across two sessions and full admin training for up to 10, with optional power-user and report-writing workshops.
